The minivan segment receives another competitor in 2016. Chrysler revealed its replacement to the Town and Country with the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. This new addition adds a new design to the old boring boxy version the Town and Country used to be. The Pacifica’s brand new design with more curvy lines and distinct design changes allows this model to compete with its competitors like the Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. With is standard automatic daytime running lights and newly redesigned Chrysler interior, Chrysler is no longer the “cheap” alternative to a minivan. Even Though there is no major difference mechanically between the Town and Country and the Pacifica, Chrysler has managed to make the Pacifica slightly lighter without compromising space and function ability.
The Pacifica comes with an 8.4 inch touchscreen display and the familiar stow and go seating is still present in the Pacifica. Options like sunroof, navigation, rear seat entertainment are available and the car starts out at around $29,500. Overall families who are in need of an affordable minivan with all the features they desire have another great option in the coming months.
